Millard wins Parent Involvement Award

Gov. Dave Heineman presented awards to the Millard, Cozad, Kearney and Sutherland school districts for their efforts to engage parents in their child's education. Each school district received $1,000, courtesy of All Lines Interlocal Cooperative Aggregate Pool (ALICAP) which sponsored the award. Millard was honored for implementing the 40 Developmental Assets program as a tool (Continued...)

Preschoolers invited to Story Time

Circle of Friends Preschool Story Time is offered monthly at Millard elementary schools.  Story time lasts 30 minutes.  Preschool age-appropriate books will be available for checkout.  Call 715-6319 for more information.

Millard North High School to hold H1N1 vaccination clinic

Millard North High School will hold a vaccination clinic on Mon., Nov. 23.  Students attending Millard North High School will be able to receive the vaccine during regular school hours if they bring a signed consent form.  From 4:30 - 8:30 p.m., the vaccine will be available to children attending Abbott, Aldrich, Cather, Cody, Cottonwood, Ezra, Harvey Oaks, Montclair and Morton (Continued...)
